    Step 1 = reboot your machine.

    hold ctrl and shift press esc once the task manager will open, look for firefox.exe and end that task.(or all of them if more than one)

    step 0 = Right click your toolbar and open the task manager. click on Firefox.exe and hit end process. Close task manager and open Firefox as normal.
