They should have given you a missed delivery slip in your post box. It gives the pick up location of your local post depot. Can't help you unless we know your location or you google your own local post depot. You will need photo ID and proof of address since you don't have the missed delivery slip.

Also it would be helpfull to ask asos for the tracking number of your item to find out what depot its actually being held in, as above make sure you bring photo id when collecting

    You can call them here;1850 57 58 59.

Your local depot will have your mail ready for collection though. just bring ID and a proof of address if you don't have the delivery docket

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but the exact same thing has happened me.

Ordered a Laptop from Amazon, but am away from home 5 days a week.

Amazon Tracking number say that the parcel was delivered, even though there is no one in the house.

Rang the local post office and they say that they have no parcel in the depot, and that their system says it was delivered, and to ring the 1850 57 58 59 number to get the name of the person who signed for it.

Rang the number and they said that they are waiting for my local PO to send the signature up.

Got my neighbour to check the letterbox to see if there was a "Sorry we missed you" slip, and there isn't!

So the Post Office have no trace of it. There is no slip. The only thing that I have to fall back on is the Amazon tracking number.

Pissed off and confused, and not at all sure what to do.

Does anyone else live at the address? I got a package last week from amazon and when I opened the door the chap just asked "151 ?" (my address) and I nodded, he then handed me the parcel followed by the electronic signature yoke which I managed to only get my first name and first 2 letters of my 9 letter second name and it was a pure squiggly of a signature as those yokes are a balls to write on, anyhow the amazon chap never even looked at what I wrote...I know that kind of info probably isn't comforting :) but before Xmas got another package and was at work at the time....when I got home the was a slip on the floor saying it had been delivered to 153 (my neighbour) so maybe this is what has happened to yours...

Also my name is almost unique, couldn't mix it up with anyone else on the road.
