I've been searching for a while now for a second hand set of BMW 172m spider style alloys, either OEM or reps and they are proving hard to get. I've been offered a set of reps but one of the wheels has been welded, I was just wondering has anyone had any experience with repaired wheels and would they but a set of wheels that have been welded ? Would I be as well off to walk away ? Any opinions appreciated ,
    Cheers

Alloy wheels don't weld well. if you're relying on that disc to keep you on line at 120kph, I'd rather someone hadn't splashed a bit of mig across mine. Personally, I'd pass.:)
