Just thought I'd create this thread as I'm interested in what everyone listens to on a daily basis.

    For me, on weekdays:

8-8.40 = The Ray Foley Show (98FM)/ a bit of Fully Charged (SPIN 1038)
    2-4 = Scott Mills (BBC Radio 1)
    5.45-6 = Newsbeat (BBC Radio 1)
    6-6.45 = Spin Hits with Steve K (SPIN 1038)
    7-8.15 + 9.30-10pm = James Barr (Capital)
    10.20-10.45 = TRL (Spin 1038)
    11-12 = Phoneshow with Adrian Kennedy (FM104)

    :pac:

I can't get past the theme tune there...

I catch bits of Newstalk Breakfast while in shower in morning (time varies depending on time I start work) and I listen again on drive to work (although I'm only 10 minutes from home).
    13:00 - 13:45 - News at One.
13:45 - 14:00 - Liveline, which I may keep listening to when I go back to work.

I also hear some of the last word when on drive home from work, and some of Off the Ball in the evening, but it's pretty scattered.

I do, however, listen to the Pat Kenny podcast most days, and also parts of Off the Ball (Rugby, Murph's Country Pages, US Sports) via podcast.

    16.30-19.00 Last Word

The only thing I regularly listen to now is Off the ball on Newstalk. I just got so sick and tired of the rest of Newstalks daily output. Between the gloom and chessy tabloid presentation of many of their shows I just had enough, it was only making me angry.

Morning 'til 8:30ish -Mourning Ireland until it gets so depressing that Marty Whelan on Lyric becomes bearable.

Work (away from radio) interferes until 10:30 or so when I am inside the premises : - then its Pat Kenny. Radio One is left on through habit so Ronan Collins' curious musical hour and the News at One.

The miseryguts Joe Duffy of Liveline then, but only because the LL thread here makes it so much fun. If I can't get on to Boards for Liveline or its Duffys dreaded Funny friday, then it's Lyric.

After 3, might listen to a small bit of Mooney and Brek to remind me just how bad radio can be....usually though it's Moncreiff, esp on Thursday and Friday.

4:30 on......Switch between Hook and Cooper, more inclined towards Matt in particular if Hookie is in one of his old fart rants or has that insufferable Yank, Michael Graham on telling us Euroweenies to join the US War du Jour.

If working back, then no contest...Off The Ball...best sports radio on earth!

    6:00 - 10:00 (assuming I'm awake and at a PC) - Ray Foley (98FM)

    10:00 - 12:00: Flicking between D'Arcy, Tom Dunne and Victor Barry(RED FM).

12:00 - 4:30: Generally don't listen at this time any more. Mostly podcasts and stuff, but if I'm in a car then it's a mix of KC and Moncrief.

4:30 - 7:00: As with the 12-4 slot, not really regular listening here. But if I was in the car I'd listen to a mix of Will Leahy and the Last Word.

    7:00 - 10:00: Off the Ball

10:00 - 12:00: Generally nothing, but on the odd occasion I'll stay tuned to Coleman at Large after OTB.

There are some one off programmes that I regularly listen to.

Friday Night 80's on Today FM.
Hook's Saturday Sit In on Newstalk.
Match commentaries on Newstalk on Sundays.
Top 40 Oifigúil na hÉireann on whatever station I hear it on (RED or Spin SW)

    Mornings lately are Morning Ireland.

I used to love Chris and Ivan on Newstalk but I cant stand Chris lately..

Then its normally a switch between Newstalk / Radio 1 and Phantom for the day.
    Dont really listen at night..

However, I absolutely love Sunday Miscellany on Radio 1 at 9am on a Sunday morning and if I'm awake John Bowman's show beforehand at 8.30 where he goes back through the archives.

Rarely get more than two hours or so a day done but can be at any time of day due to being all over the place for work

    Before 9: Morning Ireland
    9-10: Anything but John Murray
10-12:30: Pat Kenny until I have to throw the radio at the wall at some point, generally Tom Dunne after that.
Lunchtime: Newstalk's followed by RTE News then back to Newstalk

After that it's a random station doesn't have a public participation talk show on until 4:30 and then Cooper. Regionals after that to get away from wall to wall bloody Premiership after 7 most days.,

The one time I got polled by MRBI for radio habits, the person gave up half way through...

Rarely have the radio on at weekends other than 2FM on Friday/Saturday nights, if I remember.

Moncrief on Newstalk in the afternoon.

Traffic guy on DCFM who plays decent music in the early evening.

    Off The Ball from 7-10pm.

Listen to Coleman at Large the odd time too.

Early morning, getting ready for work: Strawberry Alarm Clock - FM104/Chris Evans BBC Radio 2
Late morning: I flick between Ray D'Arcy and Tubridy
    Afternoon: Sean Moncrief on Newstalk.
Driving home in the evening: Matt Cooper on Today FM.

After that I don't listen to the radio once I'm home. Except at the weekends some Saturdays I'll listen to Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2 if I'm pottering about the house.

Weekend = catch up on podcasts from the week (Pat Kenny, History Show, Talking History - used to be off the ball ones too :( ). Then if in car/etc, will listen to the sports, alternate between RTE & Newstalk.

    5:50 - 6:35 Radio 4/Today
    Commute - podcasts (BBC/NPR, etc)
Morning tends to be the PK show, work colleague has Radio 1 for pretty much the whole day...PK is the only show I don't mind hearing.
    Commute home - podcasts again.
Evening, sometimes a little bit of Drivetime over dinner.
10pm on tends to be Radio 4 again, slight Today in Parliament addict. :o Or the World Service. Weekend used to be a little bit of NPR's Car Talk, but less so now.
