Car Battery at this hour

    Anyone know where you could buy a car battery at this hour? Halfords close at 8 and mate is stuck for one - anywhere open till 9?

    Hes in Castleknock (Dublin) and I guess anywhere he can get to before 9

    Get him to phone some of the local Taxi Companies.
    If he talks nicely to the Base operator they will probably radio the drivers and see if they know of any local petrol stations that may stock a few Batteries.
    Worth a shot at this hour.

    There is a tyre place in Portarlington that opens until about 10/11 at night, it's in the square in Portarlingon (ph. (057)8623344), I think they also sell batteries, you could give them a call and see if a. they are open, and b, have a battery?

    One of those mobile tyre fitters than come to you.
    Im not sure how much they charge tho.

    Or is there any of those car dismantlers left on Dunsink lane.
