Vodafone Mobile Insurance

    Looking at Vodafone's Mobile Insurance page

    http://www.vodafone.ie/mobilephoneservices/insurance/

    there are three separate policies - Essential, Standard and Plus.

    So far as I can see, they are all identical apart from a €20 excess in Essential as opposed to €35 in the other two, and the price of the policies.

    Why would you pay €9.99 for something you can pay €2.99 for and get the exact same cover bar a lesser excess?

    Maybe I'm reading it wrong?
