    Hi

Maximum spend of 20-25 euro for a secret santa gift in work.

The guy i have to buy a gift for loves his whiskey and different types etc.

I am pretty cluess when it comes to whiskey.

Any ideas or suggestions for gift around this pricemark ?
I could get a bottle of bushmills etc in local supermarket, but looking for something away from the normal, even a small gift set/accessory pack for whiskey ?
Something which he would appreciate and maybe use in the future when having a drink at home

    Thanks a lot.

Fox's on Grafton Street does this sort of thing but from their website the gift packs start at €35. A hipflask, maybe?

I'd be happy with a €20 bottle of Black Bush from O'Briens ;)

go to master of malt and buy a few samples.
    http://www.masterofmalt.com/samples/whisky-samples/scotch/

I would much prefer 3 or 4 nice samples than a full bottle for €20.

I got a small gift box there yesterday for about €17.
It had Greenore, Tyrconnel, Connemara and Kilbeggan.

Lidl are doing an 18yr old Speyside for €29.99 if you're able to stretch a little, very few 12yr olds for anywhere near that, so is a good buy.

Crested ten on special in Dunnes Stores for circa €21 which is about €5 cheaper than it usually is. An excellent and better up scaled version of Jameson which is usually over looked. The Blackbush suggestion is good too.

Connemara miniature gift set with Glencairn Glass for around €15 http://www.celticwhiskeyshop.com/Connemara_Miniature_Gift_Set_with_Glass-z-product-product-220-context-distillery-page-1.htm

And you could also buy an aged Miniature for about a €10. Any whiskey lover would love to get four four different whiskies in a single gift.

Popped into the shop on Saturday and picked up this gift box.
All sorted now, thanks for the pointers.
