Signing off JBA and show payslip?

    Hi All,
I have signed off the JSA using their online service about a month ago. My partner's JBA should have been increased from 156 to 188 euros. However this did not happen and when my partner asked, they said that I should come in and present a payslip. Why do I have to show them a payslip?
I read the story of this woman, whose partner was cut off the welfare when she got a job. I am earning about 350 a week. Could my partner be cut off as well?
I am fairly worried to be honest
    Thanks for your help!

Is your partner on JSA or JSB?

I have finally got the welfare on the phone. They say that they have to test his means in relation to my income. Can he be cut off because of me earning 350 euros (gross) a week? This really worries me!

To get your means from work.350 minus 60 = 290 get 60% of 290 that gives you a weekly means of €174.max payment for a couple claiming JSA is €312.50.payment due to other half = €138.50

Ok! So he should be fine I should hope. I was very worried that he would be cut off because I got a four-month contract! That would be very annoying!

Though, I just realised, his allowance is going to decrease by 20 euros. Hum. Its probably better than being totally cut off altogther.
