    Hi,

I am hoping to buy a few shares in a company that listed on the AIM in London.

My question is this.. If the company gets bought out and has to delist from the AIM how do the shareholders get compensated? Do they get a share in the new company or do they simply get paid off based on the valuation of the company at the time of purchase?

It depends on the nature of the acquisition.
