37'' to 42'' TV

Hi, I'm looking to get a 40'' or 42'' TV for my parents this Xmas. They have a stone age 28'' CRT style TV. They don't need a massive amount of inputs or outputs as they just have a Sky Box. I'm looking at spending around €400-€500 and would drop to a 37'' if it was worth it quality wise. Thanks
