It will vary from store to store on what beers they have as well.

Better than what they had before and pretty good value. Better selection than most offies around the country too.

definitely, and if it converts one person over to trying something different well then it's job done as far as i'm concerned.

It's a hell of a lot better than it was this time last year! It took me months of harassing head office to get the range extended. The more you buy there the more new beers you will see available. In the store that I work in the majority of beers, bud/Heineken etc are in decline. Specialty beers are the only beers with increasing sales.
The O'Haras range has proved to be very popular since they were brought in. I was told that Galway Hooker would be in stock before Christmas but that doesn't look likely at the moment. I asked about 8 degrees, Dunnes want it in but they can't make enough beer to supply them.
Keep asking in stores, customer requests are the best way to get new lines in.

You have to laugh at this exotic sounding "Beers of the World" term used in Ireland. 75% of that list is Ireland or UK.

I suspect the big breweries won't let them say Quality or Premium beers.

Not really no, but you are kind of right about beers of the world being a bit off the mark. There are Irish/English/German and Japanese though. I'd love to see some of the American beers like Sierra Nevada and some of the Brooklyn beers in stock.

Is asahi made in Japan or brewed under licence somewhere else like Kirin ichiban?

Well, both. But the version we get is brewed in Kent by Shepherd Neame.

Leann Follain - 5 for a tenner is great value.

I picked up 15 for christmas, along with a bottle of bushmills and villa maria sauvignon blanc, for 55 euro. Had a voucher that if you spent more that 50 euro you get 10 off. 45 euro all in so I'm happy.
