    Would anyone know which pins on the chip correspond to the button pads ?

    Attach a relay but its ok now :-) found the pins I needed :-)

    You would want to use a transistor to switch the relay rather than trying to use the pins of the chip for switching it directly. Assuming its a steady change of state on the pin you use.

    It's not powering the relay . It's just joining the contacts to send the on/ off signal
