    Hyundai IX20 Handbrake Recall

    Recall Summary
    Hyundai IX20 handbrake may fail.

    Recall Issue
    Hyundai has found that corrosion of the rear callipers on some IX20s can result in the handbrake failing when parked on a hill.
    Hyundai is recalling the affected IX20s to clean the axle and housing, fit new seals, or if necessary, replace the rear callipers.

    Hyundai IX20s Affected By This Recall
    There are 4,029 Hyundai IX20s affected by this recall. They were built between October 2010 and April 2012. They have VINs in the range - TMAPU81DLBJ000154 to TMAPU81DBCJ076352.

    If you have, or believe you may have, one of the affected Hyundai IX20s then please contact your local dealer.
