dermatologist who will see a patient without a referral letter??

I have acne and have tried other forms of antibotics ..I went to my doctor and I asked him for a referral to a dermatologist but he just looked at me and wrote the same prescription for tetralysal. Does anyone know a dermatologist who will see a patient without a referral ??
