ACCBank, Teagasc, ICBF and the Irish Farmers’ Journal, will hold the inaugural Dairy Discussion Group Innovation Event on the 4th December at the Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore. The event, will showcase the 10 discussion groups which have been shortlisted as part of this exciting new project-based competition for dairy discussion groups.

The event will include a presentation from each of the shortlisted teams, followed by a five minute Q&A session, which is open to the floor. The judging panel comprises representatives from the four competition partners - ACCBank, Teagasc, ICBF and the Irish Farmers Journal - as well as a guest judge Mr. Michael McElroy, from Intertrade Ireland Acumen. Pat Dillon, Head of Animal and Grassland Programme at Teagasc will chair the morning session, with Matt Dempsey, editor of the Irish Farmers’ Journal, taking over for the afternoon session.

joint second so not good enough im afraid but no one can argue with the project about farm safety as it was done well and hit the right button.what our app was about was taking the test results of your milk and processing them and giving the back to you in graph fashion with comparison so that you could compare to the average of you group or what ever.that way you could see any time you want how you are doing and if you were diverging from the trends you would know it was down to your management or just weather factors. it would also show if you were missing out on early season production relative to your peers and it would all be available on your phone without any manual input.do you think other groups would be interested in taking it on as we can go down 2 routes with it ,one with icbf on a per cow basis or another through coops on a per hectare of grazing platform basis

not according to what i saw on the agrinet website but maybe i missed it.that seems to be individual with the only comparison being to last year or ranking your own herd and it dosent seem to be live.our one was live and changed every time someone made an entry
