Jobbridge - 2 internships

    Hi,
I've started a Jobbridge internship today, but I'm still not sure if the experience I'll be getting is of much use. However, I've been offered another internship by a different company a few days ago and I think I would definitely prefer to do that one, and I think the experience would benefit me better in getting paid employment at the end of it. For the 2nd internship I'll have to sign a form and it gets sent to Jobbridge for them to approve etc..
My question is.....am I under any obligation to stay at the first one? I think I have to sign some sort of agreement/contract at some stage.
And when should I inform them that I've been offered another internship?

    Thanks for any advice...

You have a definite offer from the 2nd company?

I'd talk to FAS / Welfare / whoever is running Jobridge .. today. Provided they're ok with you switching, I'd tell the first company today.

Yes I have the offer in writing from the 2nd company, depending on references but that should be ok. It still has to be approved by Jobbridge though.

If you have been offered the 2nd one in terms of a binding contract - in writing/on paper then its legally binding and you have been offered the position just hast to be approved by jobbridge wait till then to change to the 2nd internship.

You are of no obligation to keep going with the 1st internship there is no guideline to state you have to stay on in the 1st internship. Since you've found the 2nd one and its more suited go with that one once its all finalised and the offer can be taken up and cleared of all the red tape.

Discuss with FAS/SW regarding the jobbridge internships on offer though.
