New Camera for an Amateur

    Hi All

    First time posting here.
    My wife is very interested in photography, and I want to get her a new camers for xmas, but cant afford too much. Am looking at two different ones at the moment. And would really appreciate some professional / expert advise from anyone on here.
    The two models are:
    Konica Minolta Dimage Z3
    Fujifilm Finepix S3380 camera

    i'm only just starting too, i'm not too sure about the two you suggested, if they are priced around 500 mark, you might be better off looking at entry level mirror less camera like sony nex f3.. in the long run it gives you the option to change lens.. and sony have cashback offer going on at the moment, hope that helps
