Hi, does anybody know if there's a way of sending documents to print service while off campus?

It has to be done from one of the installed computers in a computer suite. Will not even work from your laptop there, let alone over the internet. If you printing more than 50 pages you can email it(with your instructions) to print that. They charge 4c a sheet. Cheap.

^ Not true. You can install printers on your laptop to access the wireless print release system. Then release at any multi-printer by logging in (swipe ID).

    Instructions here: http://www.nuigalway.ie/cs/staff/wireless/wireless_printing.html#WhatDoI

Unfortunately I don't know of any way to send to the printers from outside campus. For the above you need to be on the college wifi.

^Fair enough. You can do it upon installing the required software.

The main point though is whether you can do it over the internet.

    Thanks for correcting me.

Might be a way to proxy onto the campus network through a compsoc account if one is technically inclined.

When I had my own PC on-campus last year I set up Google Cloud Print on it, could send things to the printer from my mobile... was very handy!

It would be great if they had a webpage where you could login and upload a PDF for printing. would be handy for off-campus and mobile printing.
