Centra cheddar €5/kg

    Centra are offering their Centra Red/White Cheddar 200g at €1 for a week from 03/12.
    Basic cheddar cheese is minimum ~€6.30/kg in the multiples.

    They also have Kelloggs Frosties 500g for €1, 227g butter for €1.

    Check the salt content of the cheddar cheese.

    Some cheddars are absolutely LACED with it..:(

    I've checked several other cheeses I have in the fridge and they are all around the same level (except Greek Feta goats cheese which is nearly double that!)

    So it's fine. Simple basic red cheddar, used it tonight in a cauliflower cheese dish. It melted fine, tasted fine. Bargain at €1 per 200g block!
