Anyone know Glenstal wood run Limerick?

    Just started running there and wondering what the best route is through there. Is there one that runs in a circle?

    Its fecking fantastic.
    Here's this mornings runkeeper. 5k almost straight up. 200metres!

    there is a nice forest run at the back, with some fantastic views
    I have followed the purple markers (got lost one as it was missing :rolleyes: but after a few min I knew it was the wrong way, you can park up from the back of it, there is a car park and you can get straight into the woods, or at the pitch and putt club, and add a nice piece on

    here is the loop I used, I will be going back to "explorer" some of the other tracks.

    The run i did was from the back gate up the road for about 2k and then onto the forestry track for another 2.5k. I stopped then & turned back cause i was fooked but will go back next weekend and go further. Its really nice up there, and almost completely uphill for 5k!

    Nothing like hill running for getting you fast and fit!!
