Sky + recording Problem

I recorded a program a few days ago on the sky box and it ended up recording for over 2000minutes and overwriting everything on the planner. I deleted that and then yesterday the planner was scheduled to record an episode that should have been 60 minutes long but instead it recorded for over 1000 hours. Very strange and irritating! Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I'd suggest doing a full system reset, but someone else might have a better idea.
Normally sorts out any problems I'm having with my box.

You can do something called a planner rebuild, you can find the information on sky.com

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I rang Sky, they told me it was a 'known problem' and that I should turn the box off and on again. That worked until Tuesday night when it happened again.
