I know that the above channels as FTA, but if you only have a Freesat box, it can be a pain to flip between FTA and Freesat modes depending on your receiver.

Anyway, according to this post on Digital Spy, they are due to join next week.

Good, I have humax 500g dvr. I thought I was being clever switching over and back before I realised that by doing that I lost my series link on all the programmes I wanted to record.

This way I will have the best of both worlds.

Surprising though, sky could've done this a long time ago.

It is strange, as everyone of their ad breaks contains at least one for their pay tv platforms and would be great way of advertising themselves (as if they didn't advertise enough already). I thought it was a strange decision when they took sky sports news off freeview in the UK as that was a great way of pushing their most expensive channels at every opportunity.

SSN will be back at some point I'll wager. Having these channels on Freesat EPG is not that much of a deal but it'll be easier navigation using some boxes.

Now any chance of some of the UKTV channels appearing (or electric sofa! :p) ?

Any news on what time it will happen. Will the epg change automatically at midnight or do I need to reset the system?

Its Monday morning, probably the small hours, if they do not appear I'd just power down fully and reboot.

It'd be nice if ''they'' (yes; them again!) decided to carry the HD variants of (Channel)5 and ITV2, 3 and 4. Won't hold my breath though.

ITV have an exclusive deal for HD with SKY so we'll be waiting, C5 are just cheapskates.
