Had a look but Couldn't see a Premiership thread, apologies if there is one.

    Anybody else watch this game???

Decent game of rugby in the first half. But the second half was chaos (and yet still good rugby being played)

This is the timeline of the teams player numbers for the second half.

    49mins - yellow card - Taylor - Bath 14 men v 15 men Leicester
    57mins - red card - Louwe - Bath 13 men v 15 men Leicester
    59mins - yellow back - Taylor - Bath 14 men v 15 men Leicester
    64mins - red cards - Banahan(B) + Deacon(L) - Bath 13 men vs Leicester 14 men
    65mins - yellow card - Donald - Bath 12 men vs Leicester 14
    75mins - yellow back- Donald - Bath 13 men vs Leicester 14

Maddness. First premiership match to have 3 red cards ever. There was also a red in the London Irish match apprently

What were all the cards for?

Well other than the Banahan and Deacon one as I presume that was for fighting
    ......or impersonating rugby players :o

First yellow was tripping a kicker after the kick.

first red was a scuffle between himself and geordan murphy on the ground, scuffle was stopped and then louwe drop his elbow into murphys face, with intent

the pair of reds, Banahan mistimed a tackle, should have accepted the missed tackle instead took the guys head off with a swinging arm, he was knocked straight out and looked very serious, stretchered off. Deacon punched Banahan straight in the face in retaliation.

second yellow was donald throwing several swinging arms at a player holding him outta a ruck, but not connecting, was probably a bit harsh to be honest but given the previous incident was a minute before hand, not surprising.

also, on watching that you'll see the hit Allen takes and the care he recives for it.

Just spotted this which was straight after the match.
Anthony is sat up in the changing room, he is dazed but he will be okay.

The Deacon red was pretty harsh as there wasn't much in it. Not too clear on the Louw one.

Leicester really are a family club; Brett and Louis Deacon, Tom and Ben Youngs, Manu and Alesana Tuilagi, and Will and Martin Johnson spring to mind of the brothers who would have played for them. I'm sure there's more too.

There was another Tuilagi brother too, wasn't there?

I think there'e five brothers altogether. Four have played professionally, the other two are Henry who has played for Perpignan and Andy who played/plays for Sale.

There's ****ing loads of them. Imagine the family dinners!

Anitelea ('Andy') - Samoa (now with Dragons)
Freddie - Samoa (retired having played for Castres)
    Henry - Samoa (Perpingan)
Sanele - Samoa (now wit Narbonne)
Vavae - Samoa (now with Narbonne)
Alesana - Samoa (now with NTT Shining Arcs (Japan))
    Manu - England (Leicester)

At least 5 of them have profiles on the Leicester website so have represented them. Insane.

Would like to see the Louw Red from a better angle, seemed pretty harsh!

The cameras actually completly missed the Louw elbow entirely, but all three commentators and the assistant ref all saw it and all thought it was a red. The Assistant Ref actually told the ref to stop the game and not wait for a natural stoppage in play because of how serious he took the incident.

There's actually another Tuilagi brother, I believe. It has been mentioned that he was possibly the best of the lot but he was raised as a fa'afafine within a family of boys.

So does that mean he doesn't play rugby? Or how does it work?

It can be a bit confusing for a westerner to get their head around.

No, doesn't play. Assume he played when a kid with his brothers before they took it seriously. Essentially raised as a girl.

Banahan's red was harsh imo. He mistimed his tackle badly but I certainly don't think he meant to do what he did. With that in mind I think a yellow is fair.

And from the reverse angle you can see how low Allen is too. Banahan has a good few inches on him.

It was a forearm to the chin from Banahan so for me that's a red.

He mightn't have meant it but it was an awful tackle attempt.

Swinging arm with no attempt at a wrap is a yellow.
The fact that hes made contact above the shoulders makes it a red.
A player being shorter than you is not an excuse or mitigation.

He may not have meant the result but what was he doing with the arm?
Hes overrun it and kept it out.
