Skytel, Ipad3 and wifi

Has anybody any experience of trying to connect an Ipad3 via Skytel wifi using their TP-LINK router. The ipad can "see" the network but won't connect. The wifi is used by a smart phone so it does work. I have tried all the usual fixes as seen on trawls on the internet and I have been able to connect via a friend's wifi. So…

So I strongly suspect the problem lies with Skytel (Wexford) and or their router.
Is there anybody out there using Skytel wifi with an ipad3?

Forget this. The last character in password was written down incorrectly; v instead of V. Now who could have done that?!
Anyway, sorry Skytel. iPad now up and running.
