Laptop Seems Fudged

Ok so i have a Dell XPS 15 1st Gen

Since I've bought it I've added an SSD and put the HDD in place of the ODD.. also i've added a new keyboard to it as the other one the enter key and shift
    key got stuck.

Also I've the GPU overheated causing me to send back to dell for repair... i think they either replaced the motherboard or maybe just the GPU..

So recently a white Line appeared in the screen.. the screen itself got damaged i think..

but the main problem is..I put the charger into the charging port and the whole power block seemed to sink back into it... meaning that the charger is not connecting properly and won't charge properly.. also the battery has become woeful before this problem.. . i bought it 2 years ago for like just under €1000 and apart from the issues above it's grand.. also sometimes when i insert a usb into the eSATAp port the laptop restarts. Also every time i shut it down it powers back on and has on a couple of occasions turned on randomly.

I'm wondering what i should do about it... i'd have no problem opening it up and replacing stuff but would it be worth my while.

I would say the power port just needs to be soldered.

I was thinking that.. Better hunt out the aul soldering iron.. Might dedicate a day in the next week or so to strip it and have a look..

Any opinions on the random switching on and constantly restarting..

Ye but it turns on and off without a USB stick in it.. It's kinda annoying..

Check for bent pins in the usb socket. I had a similar problem with a desktoop and it turned out the Usb pins were bent.
