Was in Penneys this evening in Swords. They have a navy slim fit suit jacket for €10 and matching trousers for €9. Think they used to be €54 together. The jacket sizes I seen were 42L, 38R they have more sizes but don't remember what.

its a bargain for someone who cant afford any more for a suit. If you have nothing positive to say don't bother saying anything.

I think one of the best things about bargain alerts is being able to help someone afford something that they might not otherwise be able to afford. I think the OP's find is very good in that regard. Might not be for everyone, but some people don't fancy paying (or simply can't afford to pay) €200+ for a suit they might wear once. Being a person that never has need to wear a suit does not automatically make you a scobe either :)

I think one of the best thing about boards.ie is that from rare occasion it offers something up that conjurers an immediate image. This was one of these occasions. My posts were totally in jest and the spirit of good 'somewhat' clean humour, if it doesn't work I most humbly apologise. As a purchaser of suits over time from extremely, extremely cheap* to not so, this is a good bargain alert.
The OP deserves credit for spotting and posting.

But some people for no reason are living in total gloom, limited sense of humour and heightened sensitive levels of political correctness. Levels are fine just not heightened sensitive ones.

    It was also Friday evening.

*My lowest point was a Don Johnson rip off that was very light pink with stripes. So in the 1980s, in a small village town, coming out of a crappy local village shop, I received the endearing comment from one old women to another as they passed by "what's yer man doing out in his pyjamas." Yes I started this trend back in 1980s, not Tracy in Tallaght.
Oh damn have I done it again...

    Good post OP.

I see some other person with a brilliant sense of humour has taken great interest in your thred.

    Personally l wouldn't give a fcuk if someone was wearing a €19 suit or a €19,000 suit.

In some Countries a €19 suit would be considered a luxury item, wealth is all relative.

    Cheers.
