plugged in, not charging

Hi, Hoping someone can help. I've a hp pavilion dm1 laptop running on windows 7. When I plug in the charger the battery icon is reading 5% available (plugged in, not charging). Does anyone know how to rectify this? I've tried the method described written here but unfortunately it didn't work.…

Hi,

Hoping someone can help.

Sounds as if the battery is failing

I had 2 HP laptops, the chargers for both of them failed. The chargers were getting power and getting hot but they would not charge the battery, I bought a generic charger problem solved

Thanks for the replies lads, I was hoping ye'd say it would be something that had a quick fix! I only bought the thing in August so it should still be under warranty anyway.
