Polyethylene foam source in Dublin

Hiya,

I'm looking for a source for some closed cell polyethylene foam for a protoype I am making in college.

I'll need roughly 100 x 100 x 10 of the stuff.. anyone know anywhere that stocks this sort of thing? It's a bit pricey online.

This stuff is used in buoyancy aids and things like that, for example I cut up a garden kneeling pad for a sketch model.

Did you manage to source this material? I am on a quest to find this material also! pain in the arse trying to find it as I don't want to buy yoga/camping mats as they are very expensive!

I've recently bought quite a lot of mats for cutting into Halloween. €13.50 for 4m^2 by 10mm thick

Glue a few bits together and wire cut a clean edge is probably the easiest if you need thick sections

Well I bought a 4 pack in Argos for about 20e and then found them cheaper in the army surplus store in Middleton and bought more
