Signed up today. Should be good. No idea about course but hope its hilly and difficult as need that for next marathon preparation. Flat and fast aint gonna cut the mustard. Never going to reach my old PB of 35mins!

I've since heard that the August 10k there was quite flat! Put the boot down you might 😰

Did the August 10k, and it's likely to be the same course. It's as flat as a pancake - although I train around there a lot and if the wind blows its a killer!

Very fast course today. Did not see many of the BHAA/Club runners at it. Some triathlon runners. Plenty of stewards. Could have done with hot tea or coffee but only water which was disappointing.

I did this today also. My first race in years. Enjoyed it and came 11th in the 10k! I went home after for the hot drink so didn't see what was on offer.

Well done today -there was me thinking why is that fella running around doing laps of the ring road when he could be on that rothar of his. This mean a take up of athletics in the off season is on the cards, or is it back to sticking posters of Lance up.:)

    That's me!

I must say that I do like the more rounded feel to training with the increase in running lately. It feels good. Hurt like hell at first, but now it feels good!

Hopefully it will benefit me for next years bike racing too.

Well the main thing is nobody thinks youre a triathlete. Now that would kill your cred altogether;)

Revised results posted with the 12 missing persons now included. Please if you are entered for one distance don't swop on the day and not tell anyone. It makes life tricky if you sneak in and think no one will notice. Also put the feckin chip on the shoe lace, not in your pocket/hand/drawstring of your shorts as instructed on the envelope. Finally if you tie your laces correctly your shoe will not come off nor will the chip. If I have no record of the chip crossing any of the mats anywhere the likehood is that I will think you never wore it in the first place.
