Not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes. Does anybody know anything about host files on the mac? I have a host entry with some test sites, some of them resolve to the test site but others don't? I can ping the sites in question and the right IP is returned? Confused? It seems to work fine in Firefox but…

I can ping the sites in question and the right IP is returned?
Confused?

It seems to work fine in Firefox but not in Safari.
So maybe its a safari issue as opposed to a Mac issue.
Any advice appreciated.
