Car Standing for 4 months and the NCT

Been out of Ireland for the past 3 months, will be heading back in around 3 weeks time, just want to start organising myself. Left my car with my dad, asked him to drive it around for 15mins or so once a week just to get it up to operating temp and keep it ticking over but he's been too busy to do that every week. Therefore, its been pretty much unused for the past 2 and a half months.

Just wondering are there anythings I should look out for in particular when I try get it up and running again?

Probably going to need a new battery and maybe an oil change?

NCT is due up when I get back also, so another headache.
Also couple of things I didn't get to get sorted before I left namely:

Front disks replace along with pads
    Tracking
    Adjust handbrake
    Need a new EGR valve

So any advice as to whats the best way to get it up and running and ready for the test?

Give it a good spin and a service, do the test and fix up whatever it fails on.

    +1

a good blast on a motorway and an oil change, along with dinner fresh fuel.

the oil change is at your prerogative, especially of you reckon you'llneed s retest
