Myson Compact Circulating Oil Pump

    Hey guys the circulating pump on my oil burner has packed it in its a myson compact its causeing the rcd to trip. never changed one before is it a big job too? and how much would be be to buy one?:D Thanks in advance Ross:D

    You'll buy a good pump (Grunfoss)for 80 euro, can be an easy change as the pump has valves either side that turn off, some even do it without leaking, once off some even crack apart from the pump reletivly easily, some will now require the system to be drained, now thats not a DIY job.

    Thanks very much iam an electrican grand wen it comes to fault finding but when it comes to changeing it could be a diffeant story:o there is no valves on it just one big bolt that appears to be holding it on place:o:D

    if you get some will actually open from the pump and not leak ae well its the day to pick your lotto numbers :p

    there are some pump unions that dont have valves, these are generally steel and not brass.

    Of course there was valves on it:o turned them off and changed the pump no biggie thanks for the advice :D its great to have heat from oil again:D
