Question about AIB laser/maestro card

    Okay so my sister has the same card and has bought stuff before, i am this site called plamil.co.uk and it has the maesro symbol that matches my card, i selected maesto but before i put the required details in i noticed it says maestro with (uk) in brackets, and im from ireland, and deal in euros its confusing me, any ideas, i have a feeling i wont be able to use it at all as its now wanting a security number which they dont have, grrrrr.:mad:

    A laser card isn't an official maestro card. You won't be able to use it unfortunately. AIB are now replacing the laser cards with visa debit cards. Ring them up to get a new one. :)

    Oh okay thank you :) I was thining about calling into the bank anyway and asking about it :) are there charges or anything to get a new card?

    Nope, I got mine free of charge. They're just replacing the lasers as they're fast becoming obsolete :)
