Has anyone ever heard of a mag converter for the FAMAS to take M4 standard mag designs or cheap FAMAS mid-cap's being sold by anyone close to Ireland?

Modify the mags yourself! You just cut the slot where the magazine catch holds onto the magazine into the midcap yourself. Metal mids tend to work better for this purpose, as you can bend it out slightly to give a more positive engagement
