Solicitor fees Inheriting land

hello folks, Father died and the house and land will be divided up. I am executer. I have all the maps etc. I have almost completed probate without a solicitor and this is running well so far. However legally, for the land an house transfer, do I need a solicitor? Can it be done by me by deed of assent. Tks a lot eamon
