    Hello All,

    Praise for Eircom this morning.

    Called broadband technical services just now, 10 min wait on phone, discussed my low broadband speed. Got a 1Mbps line increase instantly.

    Always worth calling tech support if you have a low line speed.

    I went from 5.3Mbps to 6.15Mbps, not that terrible for old copper on 8NGB Greystones exchange.

    Providers adevrtise max speed, not actual. And of course it is always exagerated anyway, where is the regulator when we are being overcharged?
