I was told recently about a Nigella recipe I would love to try as people were raving about it. It was described to me as deconstructed lasagne - think its basically a really good meat sauce and may have cheese? I do know it involves giant penne. If anybody knows it I would be really appreciative as I'd like to try it and have been badgering them for the recipe for ages but they keep forgetting. Thanks!

    Could it be this one?

No giant penne but it seems to be lasagne sheets & a meat sauce with cheese

Looks like a regular lasagne. Deconstructed lasagne should look more "separated".
    Struggling to imagine it tbh.

Maybe it is that but they use penne instead?

Hmm thanks anyway, bak to badgering my friend.. =\

Baked ziti is very like lasagne, but with ziti, which are similar to giant penne, I once made a lasagne type dish but with spaghetti, very tasty indeed.

I made this tonight and found it a bit weird. The eggs and ham didn't really add anything and it suffered from a low cheese content. Back to normal lasagne next time I think.
