    I know this won't be everyone’s cup of tea but someone might find it useful. I know I did. :D

    I've been tracking this lens for a while on camelcamelcamel.com. It was already at one of the lowest prices around before it suddenly dropped by £173.09 since yesterday to £481.74 (with Irish VAT).

    Canon is also doing a cashback promotion which will give you a refund of €70 which should bring the total price down to less than €530.

    People could use parcel motel to avoid the extra 3% Irish VAT but I think parcel motel only insure to the value of €100 so I didn't take the risk.

    No doubt the price is an error so I'd be surprised if it stays at that price for too long.

    EDIT: Back up to £623.08 - still one of the best prices around and good deal with the cashback.
