Switching from Social Science to Arts?

    Hey all,

I'm wondering how difficult it would be for a 1st year Social Science student to switch to Arts for 2nd and 3rd year - doing, say, subjects that would've been done in Social Science (50 credits Sociology and 10 credits Psychology, for example). And who would you have to go talk to to make this happen?

    Thanks!

I'm 2nd year Sociology and Psychology (40/20). Ask away if you've an specific questions! I wouldnt know what the Social Science students do!

As for transferring, admissions and the department heads would be your best bet? Do you deal directly with the Sociology department? Sorry, I know nothing about Social Science! If you are dealing with the Sociology department, email Tracey Skillington, she's the first year and undergrad adviser. Maybe Kieran Keohane as he's currently dept head! Go talk to admissions as well!

Cool, I didn't realise you could do 20 credits of psychology, that's awesome. Thanks IHeartChemistry!

In terms of transferring from one course to another, does anyone here have any experience of that? Is it a big hullaballoo, or relatively straightforward?
