    How do folks,
Elec window cable (front passenger) has snapped on the 06 Octavia, so will need a new mechanism, can anyone ballpark a fig for part & also for the labour (no. hrs) as I'm thinking that will be tricky to get at..
    Cheers!

Dont go to a garage - It's not that hard to do yourself. Maybe one of the lads in your work could do it for €20 or someone u know handy with cars? u would get the mechanism cheap in a breakers too.

I know a guy in Charleville who repairs them. Just bring him down your unit and he'll repair it with stainless steel wire, all ready to go again. He probably would remove and install it for you too. PM for number if interested

Window regulator 95 euros plus 45 fitted. Regulator comes without motor but its usually the cable having snapped as opposed to the motor. PM for more info.
