It's all boys' stories. Most people don't even get near their first ride till college age, and even then the pickings are slim; a couple of times a year at most. There are a subset of people in both genders who have no qualms about whoring themselves out to all and sundry, and these are the ones who make up the bulk of the sordidness.

A friend of mine spent several years in equestrian school, seemingly they were all at it non-stop.

It's mostly the rock stars, actors, rugby players and brass-necks who do all the riding I4d say.

It was mostly GAA & rugby folk from my experience. I used to share with a GAA lad, who had a different woman back every Friday and Saturday night, then he hit mass early on Sunday morning, followed by a GAA game. That was his weekend routine.

One Sunday morning, his mother arrived to the house, out of the blue. He was asleep in his bed, plus one. The next hour was like an episode of Fawlty Towers, with him trying to get the girl out of the house without his mother noticing.

Perfect excuse to get your kit off , just cause your in the capital and all that. When you meet a country girl in a Dublin club it's like a wild young deer in the headlights.

As someone a few months into college now, no, I don't think so. The vast majority of the people I know (a good cross-section of students) have got fcuk all since coming here. That being said, I have got a mate who was a virgin until he went to uni but is doing quite well for himself now.

The country girls were always good for a lash particulalry of a Thursday night as they would be heading home on Friday. They mightnt go all the way but they knew how to do the happy ending. The demise of the bedsitter will be a great loss
