Flaked Maize

    Anyone else brewing using Flaked maize, I did a lager with 25% maize over a month ago now. I'm kegging it tomorrow, the maize has helped the proteins from the barley drop out and even through its sitting at -1 its clear as day.

    Would maize do the same in other beer styles

    Yep, it has lower nitrogen content than malted barley, but rice and sugar would do the same. Think bud coors etc :D
