    Didn't see this posted, apologies if I missed it on search. I know we had a thread last year but thought this deserved recognition.

    Irish Army Ranger Snipers placed second in Sniper competition in Fort Benning, USA. Competitiors were judged on Reconnaissance, Navigation, Stalking, Shooting and written tests ... good intro video here:

    This is the 2nd time the Irish have placed 2nd and beat serious international competition. Last year they lost out to a U.S special forces team that included an Ex Irish Army Ranger Sergeant :D

    Did us proud - hope they go one better next year....
