    Hey all,

I remember someone posted a thread about the lack of Sci Fi Cons in Ireland.

We have some great cons like Arcade Con, Eirtakon, Nom Con and other events like Invasion Dublin but we now also have Dublin Comic Con, so head on over, keep an eye on the page for updates over time and like and share the page if you can!

A few updates on Dublin Comic Con for those who have not been following the Facebook Page located at https://www.facebook.com/comiccondublin or our website www.dublincomiccon.com, DCC is being held during August the 10th and 11th of this year.

So far we have Charlie Adlard of the Walking Dead, Brian Muir (best known for his work on Star Wars) and Shannon Shea (best known for his work with Stan Winston Studios on the likes of Predator, Terminator, Jurassic Park etc)

Does anyone have any tips for attending a Con?

I've never been to one so I'm not sure what to take.

I was planning on taking a rucksack full of snacks and drink, camera, maybe my magic cards to play against my son if there's any waiting around for anything.

Some cash to buy some goodies and space in the rucksack to carry it all.

I presume your allowed to take a rucksack and your own food along.

Anyone have any do's and dont's?

Hi all, My son & Daughter were very much looking forward to go to Dublin Comic Con this Saturday. Unfortunately, I missed the boat and it is now sold out. Would anyone be willing to sell me their tickets or swap for Sunday tickets instead? I'd be very grateful. In total, I'd be looking for 3 to 5 tickets. Any suggestions welcome. =)
