    Hi.

    Can anyone recommend a Christian group in the Cork city area. Please provide some details regarding times and venues.

    The people at Cork Community Church at 53 MacCurtain Street are lovely. Sunday services start at 11am. The entrance is beside the Spar shop on McCurtain street. It's a pretty big church too, so they have lots of small groups who meet during the week and a pretty involved community going.

    I would check out Grace Christian Fellowship: http://www.graceireland.com/

    They meet in the Deerpark CBS school at Turners Cross and are growing rapidly - something like 800 people attend each week.

    What amazes me about this church (and I'm not a member - I live on the other side of the country) is that even though they are a large church, the pastor appears to still know everyone by name and they keep a strong family atmosphere.

    You can view some of the video footage on the website and get a feeling as to whether it's the kind of thing you're looking for.
