Hello everyone. When 2 of our cows are eating at barrier they are throwing baled silage over their heads and over barrier onto salts. This means we have to clean everyday to prevent silage from going into tank. Would ye have any ideas on how to prevent this from happening? Thanks.

have exactly the same problem, 2 layers of chicken wire over the barrier is what I use and it works very well. Saw it done on a farm before which gave me the idea. If you check when they are at grass they probably throw grass on their backs too, very bad habit but of course with everything its the good ones who do it so no option of culling!!!
