    Is this LCD panels they're talking about? People are breaking their tablet screens a lot more than their laptop screens. Which is what is probably accounting for those stats in my opinion.

    I don't doubt that more and more people are buying tablets, they are. But they're a different ballgame to a laptop.

    I don't think laptops have taken over from desktops, nor do I think tablets will ever take over from laptops!

    For me its down to the user preference and user needs. Same as buying a car. A three door hatchback vs a five door vs an estate. Different needs for different users!
