Walking group/club in Waterford City??

Hey have just joined a slimming group and need to get out walking!
Was wondering does anybody know of a walking group in the Waterford city area. I am here four months (originally from Cork) would love to meet new people and get active as well . Any help appreciated

Hi,

There's a fair few in or near the city. The Comeragh Walking Club, The Kilmacthomas Walkers and the Dungarvan Walking club spring to mind.
I know the Comeragh lads head out Sunday. Not sure of what days the rest of them head out on.
On a phone so hard to dig out links. But a quick Google will get you there. If you're in the college consider joining the mountaineering club.

Best if luck and you're in one if the best places for hill walking. Have fun!

Loving how the OP was looking for a group to stroll around town together* and now finds themselves slogging up with Comeraghs with crampons and ice picks


* I know the OP was not actually looking for a 'stroll around town' experience but it works better for dramatic effect.
