    Hey there,

So I just took over the internet bill in my rented house. Got the first bill there and ye're charging me for two months in advance (December - January). Because of the fact we're renting and there's people coming and going every now and then, this is a pain in the behind to sort.

Can I change the billing so I can pay it at the end of each month of usage instead of having to pay it two months in advance?

    Hi rubysgirl,

I am afraid the billing of line rental & broadband in advance is a set billing format (which is the case with most telecommunication companies). There is no was to change the format. Which means the due date for payment is always 14 Days after the bill is issued.

Sorry I could not get back with better news.

    Thanks, Mark

Ok, that's upsetting. So if someone were to cancel their contract, would they be refunded their two month payment?

    Hi rubysgirl,

Yes any advanced line / broadband rental that was charged for in advance after the line / account has been cancelled would be credited back on the final bill.

    Thanks, Mark
