    Hi.....

Any recommendations on a USB driven front light??? Getting fed up of trying to find batteries in the house 5 minutes before I go out at night!!

    Thanks

I have Light & Motion Urban 300. It's pretty good. Only thing is, if you don't use it for a few days, you will find that it has lost all it's charge. I top it up almost every day.

I use Philips LED for dark country roads. Find the low setting fine.

I carry a spare set of batteries in a glasses case on the handlebars along with the glasses. Always have fully charged batteries in the lights and the charger lives by the front door.

MiNewt Mini (which I got off Gasco - cheers Gasco).

I've started using this on Commutes and it's very good. I charge it every day on my work laptop. Normally get about 2 hours of full intensity out of it. The newer version promises more.

Used it a few times last winter going up and down Threerock in the pitch black and it was excellent. Narrow enough beam though. You might want something wider if you are going off road.

I've been using one of these since January and find it to be excellent.

Got one of these about 6 weeks ago. Far too bright for city commuting but fine on the lowest of its 4 settings..

Also if you only need to be seen and not to see then I would recommend Ree lights. I have 2 sets on 2 of the kids bikes for college. They dont need to be removed when locking the bike and no batteries ever!!

If you're cycling in the city and don't need to be buying massively powered lights I'd recommend the Electron Backupz

I've had a pair for about 3 years now, perfectly bright for urban commuting.

Lezyne power drive is excellent, works really well for me with a mix of commuting and winter spins. USB rechargeable, pick up a 2nd battery and you're sorted for 4 hour night time rides.

I got the same off wiggle (cheaper). First ride today - I'm well impressed.

That's a very good price. I got mine at my LBS and they had it listed at 130 euro. With discount it came to 100, and I just happened to have a gift voucher that value.
That wiggle price is very good indeed...
